We ask for your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, laundry preferences and delivery instructions to help to provide superior service and pickup/deliver your order to the correct location. Our employees with access to this information are required to strictly maintain your confidentiality.

We also ask that you provide us with credit card information for payment. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to prevent unauthorized access to your account information.

We may send emails from time to time with offers of special discounts and promotions from Todd Layne Cleaners. If you prefer not to receive these, please opt out by sending an email to uppereast@toddlaynecleaners.com.

Todd Layne Cleaners reserves the right to change prices at any time and is not responsible for typographical errors in the store or on the website related to pricing information.

Todd Layne Cleaners may make changes to the materials at this site, or to the products, prices and offers described in them, at any time without notice. The materials at this site may be out of date, and Todd Layne Cleaners makes no commitment to update the materials at this site. The information, products and services contained or referred to on this Web site may change or be updated without notice. Use of the information on this Web site is at your sole risk. In no event will Todd Layne Cleaners be liable to any person or entity for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, exemplary, multiple, punitive, special or other damages under any theory of law for any use or reliance upon the information available on or through this Web site, including without limitation, damages for lost profits, business interruption, loss or damage to data, or damage to computer systems.

Handling your garments

All dry cleaning garments, laundered shirts and wash bags are itemized in our facility. Each item is video scanned and this serves as proof of garments received. We keep video records for 15 days.

Damage and Loss

We are not responsible for articles not claimed. Unclaimed Garments will be discarded after six months. We exercise utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly, but not exclusively to suedes, leathers, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyls, polyurethanes, etc. Responsibility also is disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, bells and sequins. In laundering we cannot guarantee against color loss and shrinkage; or against damage to weak or tender fabrics. We are not responsible for loose items in pockets or bundles of garments and are not responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets or bundles of garments. We do not assume responsibility for dry clean only garments that are placed inside wash&fold bags; these items must be separated from the wash&fold order. Differences in count must be reported, and invoice presented, within 48 hours. Unless a list accompanied the bundle, our count must be accepted. Our liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for processing it. At our discretion, we may also use the International Fabricare Institute (IFI) guide to determine a fair value for a lost or damaged article. This guide takes into account the price paid and life expectancy of a garment.

If a receipt is not provided for a damaged or lost garment, the purchase price will be determined at our discretion.

Billing/ Additional Charges

We will charge your credit card at the point that your garments are itemized at our facility. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for items that cost more to clean. Examples include evening and wedding gowns, couture garments, leather and suede. In the event that we need to charge an additional fee, we will contact you first for approval before cleaning the garment.

Refund Policy

We do not offer cash or credit card refunds for our services. If you are not satisfied with our service, you have the right to ask us to repeat the cleaning process at no charge.

Stains

Please keep in mind, that while we aim to remove all stains, some stains may never be entirely removed. In particular, this includes failure to follow care instructions, further complicating a stain by using a home remedy such as water or soda, chemical damage from spillage of alcoholic beverages, medications, perfumes, after shaves, hair dyes, perspiration and shrinkage of garments due to improper washing techniques. If you give us permission to re-do a garment with stains, we will not be responsible for any damage to the garment that is caused by our attempts to remove the particular stain.

User Submissions

Any material, information or other communication you transmit or post to this site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. (“Communications”) Todd Layne Cleaners will have no obligations with respect to the Communications.

Self-Serve Laundry

Customers may only use our dryers if they have washed their garments in our facility. The last wash for self serve customers is one hour before closing time.

Minimum Wash and Fold Order

The minimum charge for wash and fold is ten pounds.
